We had one lesson during the croquis and drawing course where we did portrait practice on limited time (5-10 mins). It was really a challenge for me to have such a short time for doing portraits, and none of them turned out good during the lesson. Stubborn as I can be at times, I did a few self-portraits later that week while looking in a mirror with no limit on time. I think that one of them turned out surprisingly good, all though I look pretty angry/sad, probably because I was drawing myself while concentrating.
After doing this drawing, I tried to draw more self portraits, but none of them turned out as good I think. Maybe I just had a good day.
